OOOoh, we love a good sing-off!! The Voice is coming to the BBC!!

We don’t know about you, but the lads and ladies in the Moon Bingo office are caraazzzy about a good old singing competition. We went gaga over little Ronan Parke in Britain’s Got Talent and fisticuffs have been known to break out in the office over who should win the X-Factor.

As you can imagine, we were rather chuffed to hear that the good old BBC is finally getting into the reality talent competition market by buying rights to the Voice, the sing-off competition searching for a star over in the States with gorgeous Christina  Aguilera leading the judging panel.

What makes The Voice different to every other “make me a star” show? Judges have their backs to the contestant whilst they are performing. If they like what they hear they spin around to see who is performing, and choose to mentor that act. The US show is incredibly popular, and it is nice to see potential stars who don’t look like they’ve come from your standard boy band.

Rumour has it that they’re trying to get both Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue signed up for the UK version, which would suit us just fine. The judges can focus on the contestants’ great voices, and we can check out what the judges are wearing. Everyone’s happy.
